Sound Propeller Systems, LLC., is the sister company to 15-year-old Sound Propeller Services, and was established in April of 2007. Sound Propeller systems was developed to expand and compliment Sound Propeller Services by providing the ability to produce specialized technical services in repair of marine propulsion systems.
Those systems include controllable pitch propellers, bow thrusters, electronic and pneumatic control systems, and stern tube sealing systems. We are also in the advanced stages of introducing our range of 1500 to 3500 horse power azmuthing z-drives that will be manufactured, and maintained by materials and vendors in the United States for your convenience and expedited service!
Our goal is to design a robust machine that
is manufactured in the United States with ISO 9001 subcontracted parts and assembled under our control and
overseen by ABS to achieve a Type classification. We are determined to produce a modular package that is user
friendly, factory supported with spare parts and trained service technicians to assist when necessary.
